B.Sc Physiotherapy (Wits)

Physiotherapy always seemed to the perfect merger between my passion for all things medical and the human body, and my obsession with sports. After obtaining my B.Sc Physiotherapy at Wits in 2016, I worked a state Neurological Rehab facility (Southrand Hospital) for my community service year. This helped me gain invaluable experience in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of complex conditions and cases. Thereafter, I worked within a sports and orthopaedic private practice in Illovo, Johannesburg which exposed me to many different sportsmen and women, further growing in confidence and ability.

I have assisted with club rugby at the Wanderers Rugby Club as well as National Athletes, Boxers and Powerlifters, international EFC fighters and am now the current head physio for the South African Ice Hockey federation.

My experience means that I can comfortably assist any person from any background, and not only help them get back to work, school, sport or gym, but also ensure that they stay there! I firmly believe in the principle that a solid foundation within your rehabilitation prevents future issues, whilst correcting any other insufficiencies you may have.

Bsc Sports Science (TUKS)

Bsc Honours Biokinetics (TUKS)

My love for Biokinetics and human movement started with my love for sports and a passion to see people reach their health and wellness goals.

My career has seen me treat a range of patients, from neurolgical and orthopaedic rehab, to the management of certain chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, arthritis and obesity.

There is no one field that I enjoy more than the other. The enjoyment comes from seeing my patient’s improve and adapt one session at a time.

I believe strongly that exercise is medicine and with the correct dosage, anything is possible!
